Richard Pfister Joins Biothera Board of Directors


EAGAN, MN — August 31, 2010 — Business executive Richard Pfister has joined the Board of Directors of Biothera, the immune health company. For the past 32 years, Mr. Pfister has been chief executive officer of Midwest Stihl, Inc., the largest supplier of hand-held power equipment to the professional and consumer market in Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

 

“Dick brings a great deal of business experience to our board,” said Dan Conners, Biothera Chairman and Founder. “His expertise spans all aspects of business, from strategic planning and asset allocation to marketing and finance.”

 

Mr. Pfister’s initial ventures were in the forest products industry and construction. Under his leadership, Midwest Stihl, Inc. has maintained one of the highest market shares in the United States. Mr. Pfister is also very active in commercial real estate and commercial leases. He has a strong personal interest in the preservation of forestlands and wildlife for future generations.
